At Creative Lab, the privacy of the people who use our website and our mobile applications is a priority. This Privacy Policy explains what information we and our partners collect, how it is used, and the choices available to you.

Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to:

• our website at https://creativelab.in, and
• the mobile applications published by Creative Lab on Google Play and the Apple App Store, including our ebook apps and Greetings n More (with its card pages on greetingsnmore.com).

Our apps work differently, so where a section applies only to the website, only to our ebook apps, or only to Greetings n More, this is stated.

Who we are

Creative Lab is the Data Controller of the information described in this policy.

Information we collect

On our website

• Cookie and usage information about your visit.
• Your email address, if you complete an opt-in form.

In all our apps

Our apps do not require you to create an account, and none of them asks for your name, email address or phone number to work.

Our apps display advertising supplied by Google AdMob. To serve and measure that advertising, Google and its advertising partners may collect and process:

• Device or other identifiers, including the Advertising ID, a resettable identifier assigned by your device, used to serve and measure advertising.
• Approximate location, derived from your IP address, used to serve regionally relevant advertising. We do not collect precise or GPS location.
• App interaction data, such as ad impressions and clicks, used to measure advertising performance.

This information is transmitted off your device and shared with Google and its advertising partners for advertising, ad measurement and analytics purposes. All such data is encrypted in transit.

On iPhone, Greetings n More does not ask for permission to track you, so it cannot use your device's Advertising ID.

In our ebook apps

We do not operate a server that stores your personal information for our ebook apps. Book content is bundled inside the app and is read on your device. These apps do not collect your name, email address, contacts, photos, files, messages, or any health information you may read about or search for within the book.

In Greetings n More

Greetings n More lets you make cards, invitations and group cards and send them to people as a link. Anything you create stays on your device unless you choose to share or publish it. The features below use our servers (hosted in Germany), and only when you use them.

• Cards you share as a link. When you send a card, invitation or group card as a link, the card image, its text and any voice note you added are stored on our servers so the people you send it to can open it. Links use long random identifiers, but anyone who has the link can view the card.
• Replies, messages and RSVPs. People who receive your card can write back on the card page (the name and message they enter). Friends who sign a group card add their name and message. Invitation guests can RSVP with their name, their answer, the number of guests and an optional message. These are stored with that card and shown to its sender in the app.
• Voice notes. The microphone is used only while you record a voice note, and the recording leaves your device only if you share a card that includes it.
• Photos and camera. You pick photos with your phone's own photo picker, so the app sees only the photos you choose; it does not read your photo library. The camera is used only when you take a photo.
• Device and app information. A random ID the app creates for your device (not linked to your name), a push-notification token (Firebase Cloud Messaging), app version, operating system and version, device model, language, time zone, the country set on your device, and IP address. We use these to deliver notifications you allow, show cards and festivals for your region and language, and keep the app working.
• Your preferences. The festivals you choose to celebrate, so we can show the right cards and send the right reminders.
• Usage and event data. Screens viewed, features used and the content you open (for example, which cards or categories). This powers features such as "Trending" and helps us improve the app.
• AI features. When you use AI Wish Writer, Create My Card with AI or AI invitations, the text you type (such as the occasion, the recipient, the tone or a description of the card) is sent to our AI provider, Anthropic, to generate your result. We record which AI feature was used and how large the request was, linked to the app's random device ID, to manage costs and daily limits. Please don't put sensitive personal information in AI requests.
• Purchases. If you buy ad removal, Google Play or Apple processes the payment. We receive the purchase record (product, order number and purchase token), check it with the store and link it to the app's random device ID so your purchase stays active. We never receive your payment-card details.

Greetings n More does not collect precise location, your contacts, your photo library (beyond photos you pick), or any account or login information.

How we use information

• To operate and improve our website and apps.
• To deliver what you send with Greetings n More: shared cards, voice notes, replies, group-card messages and RSVPs, to the people involved.
• To send notifications you have allowed, such as festival, birthday and anniversary reminders, replies to your cards and app updates.
• To display and measure advertising that funds our free apps.
• To respond to enquiries you send us.
• To comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce our policies.

Who we share information with

• Google AdMob and its advertising partners, to display and measure ads (all our apps).
• Firebase (Google), for push notifications (Cloud Messaging) and app stability and aggregated usage analytics (Greetings n More).
• Anthropic, which receives the text of your AI requests to generate wishes, cards and invitations (Greetings n More).
• Google Play and Apple, which process in-app purchases.
• Our hosting provider, which runs the servers that store shared cards on our behalf.
• The people you choose to send a card, invitation or group card to, and anyone they pass the link on to.

We do not sell your personal information.

Legal bases (GDPR)

Our legal basis for collecting and using personal information depends on the information concerned and the context:

• we need to perform a contract with you (for example, delivering a card you chose to send);
• you have given us permission to do so (for example, notifications and personalised advertising);
• processing is in our legitimate interests (for example, keeping the apps secure and understanding aggregated usage);
• we need to comply with the law.

In our apps, for personalised advertising to users in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, our legal basis is your consent, gathered through the consent form described below.

Log files

Creative Lab follows the standard practice of using log files on our website. These log visitors when they visit websites, as all hosting services do. The information collected includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet Service Provider, date and time stamp, referring and exit pages, and possibly the number of clicks. This is not linked to any personally identifiable information. It is used for analysing trends, administering the site, tracking movement around the website and gathering demographic information.

Cookies and web beacons

Like most websites, creativelab.in uses cookies to store information such as your preferences and the pages you visited, in order to customise page content based on your browser type and other information.

You can disable cookies through your browser settings. Detailed guidance is published on each browser's own support website.

Our mobile apps do not use browser cookies for advertising; they use the device Advertising ID described above. The Greetings n More card pages on greetingsnmore.com use only the cookies they need to work securely, and no advertising cookies.

Third parties and advertising

Advertising in our apps and on our website is served by Google AdMob and other third-party ad networks. Their handling of data is governed by their own privacy policies, not this one.

Third-party ad servers use technologies such as cookies, JavaScript and web beacons in the advertisements that appear in our properties, and automatically receive your IP address when this occurs. These technologies measure advertising effectiveness and personalise the advertising you see. Creative Lab has no access to or control over cookies used by third-party advertisers.

We advise you to consult the privacy policies of these third parties for details of their practices and their opt-out instructions.

Your choices

Consent to personalised advertising (EEA, UK and Switzerland)

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, the first time you open one of our apps we present a consent form provided by Google's User Messaging Platform. You may accept or decline personalised advertising. You can change your choice at any time from Privacy options: in our ebook apps it is in the navigation menu, and in Greetings n More it is under More → Privacy options.

Resetting or deleting your Advertising ID

On your Android device, go to Settings → Google → Ads, where you can reset your Advertising ID or delete it entirely to opt out of personalised advertising. On iPhone, you can limit tracking in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.

Notifications, microphone and camera

You can turn off notifications, and withdraw microphone or camera access, at any time in your device settings. Greetings n More keeps working without them; only the features that need them stop.

Deleting something you shared

To have a card, invitation or group card you shared with Greetings n More deleted, together with its voice note, replies, messages and RSVPs, email us the link at support@creativelab.in and we will remove it.

Your rights under GDPR

If you are a resident of the European Economic Area, you have certain data protection rights. In particular:

• the right to access, update or delete the information we hold about you;
• the right of rectification;
• the right to object;
• the right of restriction;
• the right to data portability;
• the right to withdraw consent.

Your rights under US state privacy laws

If you are a resident of a US state with applicable privacy legislation, you may have the right to know what personal information is collected, to request deletion, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information for targeted advertising. Where required, we present an opt-out choice in our apps. You may also contact us at support@creativelab.in.

Data retention

We retain personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes set out in this policy, and to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce our policies.

• Cards, invitations and group cards shared with Greetings n More, with their voice notes, replies, messages and RSVPs, are kept so their links keep working, until you ask us to delete them.
• Push-notification tokens are deleted once they stop working, for example after the app is uninstalled.
• Usage and analytics data is kept only as long as needed for the purposes above, then deleted or anonymised.
• AI requests are processed to generate your result and are handled under Anthropic's data-use policies.
• Advertising data collected through Google AdMob is retained by Google in accordance with Google's own retention practices, described in Google's Privacy Policy.

Security

We take reasonable measures to protect the information we hold. Information collected through our website and our apps is stored securely and is accessible only to people who need it to perform their work. Data transmitted from our apps is encrypted in transit.

Children's information

Protecting children online is a priority. We encourage parents and guardians to observe, participate in, and monitor and guide their children's online activity.

Our apps are intended for a general audience and are not directed at children under the age of 13. Creative Lab does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13 through our website or our apps. If you believe a child has provided such information, contact us immediately and we will make every effort to remove it from our records promptly.

Medical disclaimer (applies to our health and wellness titles)

Content in our ebook applications is provided for general information and educational purposes only. It is not medical advice, and it is not a substitute for diagnosis or treatment by a qualified healthcare professional. Always seek the advice of your physician or another qualified health provider with any questions you may have regarding a medical condition. Never disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of something you have read in our applications.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes are posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.
